I thought the vendor (Overland) was great.

However, on the first pair the right boot was unusually tight at the ball of my foot. On the replacement pair, the right boot is good, the left is a bit snug at the same place. Ugg's Chinese manufacturer obviously isn't keeping up quality.

I ordered the "Ultimate" because of the reinforced toe. I wore my last pair of Uggs for years and finally poked my toe through the front so I thought this would help. However, I find these boots narrow, particularly through the front, and the seam between the top and sole is uncomfortable. Wish I had paid less and gotten plain ol' Uggs.

My wife has always been a "I don't need more than $10 shoes" kind of person. After receiving recommendations from other girls she works with she caved and asked for these boots. Now she says they are the most comfortable boots she owns and her feet don't hurt all the time when she wears them. I don't know if it's a good thing that my wife will want to wear +$100 shoes/boots from now on, but at least her feet don't hurt.
