I normally have to try on a shoe/boot before buying because I have a hard time with sizing. I normally wear an 8.5 but depending how a shoe is made, I sometimes need a 9. I looked for reviews on fit, but could not find anything that was helpful. So, hopefully I will be able to help someone else out! To be really specific, the length of my bare foot is 25 cm (9.84 inches) & I measure about 13 3/4 inches around my calves. I ordered these boots in an 8.5 in the luggage color. They are a great fit, with enough room for socks. A size 9 would have been too large. They leave me with about an inch of room to work with in the calf, so jeans will be no problem to tuck inside. They are not real leather, but on most sites that I've looked at, the description says that they are not leather, so I think the people giving these boots a so-so review because of the material should be ignored. I would say these boots are maybe worth $45-55. It's easy to tell when you feel the material, they are not made to last. The material is very cheap. The sole of the boot is nice though, and the fit is very comfortable. It's a good looking, fashionable boot... it's just not an item you're going to keep in nice shape for more than a few months of wear, depending on how frequently you wear them and how careful you are with them. I thought these were a good deal so I tried them. I'm a 7.5-8 depending on the shoe, but thanks to reviews I ordered the 7.5, they fit.My problem was, they are an awkward length on my leg, a bit too short for a riding boot. They also look incredibly cheap (I know they are, but I have had some luck with getting cheap items that don't look it). All in all, they did not satisfy my need for this type of boot so I returned them and am still searching... |
