The color was totally what I wanted and I love all the little wrinkles in the fabric...gives them a little more character. They're not made out of the best material so if you're looking for them to last years and years this is probably not what you're looking for, but they're definitely fun. The heel isn't too high and they come about an inch or two below my knee (I'm 5'5) so I would say all around they're a good pair of boots. I usually wear a 7 1/2 in regular shoes and an 8 in boots, but I got these in 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. After I got these I wanted them in every color! Often boots will gap so much around my calves, I feel like Puss in Boots! lolBut not these, and they were true to size. The toe is round which is fine as my toes are small, but I could not image some big toed feet feeling good in these. My problem with the boot was the heel. Its pretty much a thin stiletto heel that made me feel a bit wobbly. I personally like my heel to be a bit thicker so I can walk more comfortably and felt like I would break it off. It is also high and sort of makes your foot cram forward into the toe of the shoe, is you know what I mean. It would benefit from a platform front. I like to look sexy, but I also need to feel comfortable too. Now this is just my personal preference, if you love a skinny heel and have lot's of practice strutting your stuff in them, this is a great boot. Just not for me. |
