    I recently purchased these shoes because my former winter boots were getting super worn out. I wanted something affordable (I'm a college student!), durable for the winter weather and comfortable. I feel that these shoes fit my criteria. I've already received compliments on them and I love wearing them. Also, they were sent to me quickly and as described. Don't be deceived by the light weight of the shoe. They do seem like good quality. I highly recommend them!

    I only gave this item one star because I had to give it something. The loops to hold the buttons in place were detached at one end on one boot when item arrived. I bought a pair in black also and two buttons popped off when i went to put them on and no I don't have fat calves. Extremely disappointed in this product.

    Winter boots are a must-have when you live on the frozen tundra (the midwest). I didn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for UGG boots, so I set about my Amazon search.

    I'm always weary of buying shoes online, especially boots. I have larger calves, so sometimes it's difficult to find boots to fit comfortably. I have a size 8-9 foot, but usually have to buy a 10 to fit my calves. As you can imagine, this is a horrible trade off. However, these boots fit perfectly at a size 9! They're slightly snug, but that's fine with me, because I know that snow isn't going to sneak inside.

    I have yet to use the boots on ice, but once I do, I'll be able to comment on the traction of the soles.

    I'm looking at buying another pair of the one or two button boots I love them so much!
