I'm glad I did, they fit great. The straps are a little thin, some have a slight fray I will need to trim and the belt holes are not well perforated, but this are easily fixed (and the only reasons these boots didn't get 5 stars). The color is beautiful, just like the picture and they are very comfortable to walk around my house in. I have enough space to fit non-skinny jeans and normal socks in them. The boots can be tightened if you want a better fit but I like them loose since I have larger calves(about 16 inches). The boots hit right under where my calves are the biggest. If you're wondering, they are not lined. Really, really awesome, they look especially good with skinny jeans. The tongue is floppy but if you don't like that, you can just pull on the strap to tighten the top (you may need to punch more holes in the strap - i wanted them tighter so I did). And the best part is that they are really comfortable.Quite a few of the reviews on Amazon suggest that the shoes run small. I wear a 6.5 - that's my actual shoe size, not what I wish I wore - and upon reading the reviews ordered a 7. They are HUGE! I had to exchange them. I just got the 6.5s in the mail and they fit perfectly everywhere. So I'd suggest ordering true to size but just being honest with yourself about what size your feet are. I usually get my boots one size larger but for whatever reason these are perfect - even with thick socks. It's a little narrow to put on so I have to undo the lower buckle. I also had more holes put into the top strap because my legs are a little on the skinny side. All in all the boot looks and feel high quality and look great with everything - skinny jeans, dresses, skirts - PLUS, they are appropriate for any season. |
